Skydance Animation is looking for a Production Coordinator to support the Rigging and Animation teams on its fourth feature film. Candidates should have previous experience on a feature and the ability to prioritize and manage the workflow of the departments and overall show needs.


  • Work closely with Production Supervisors, Managers, Producer, as well as counterparts in Madrid studio, to manage Animation & Rigging teams; minor crossover to FX Concept
  • Maintain deliverables, deadlines and inventory, ensure departmental productivity goals are met
  • Manage schedule for completion of work on production and task tracking for departments
  • Attend meetings and creative reviews; coordinate schedules, prepare agendas, prep space/conferencing details, screenings
  • Attend production meetings and reviews reviews; prepare and distribute follow-up notes as appropriate
  • Responsible for accurate input and updating of data; maintain comprehensive database and files or premises, outlines, script drafts, revisions and submissions
  • Maintain and update scratch binders and files
  • Facilitate communication across global studio, coordinate delivery of materials in a timely manner
  • Collect and submit production timecards to finance
  • Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Production Coordinator on an Animated feature, supporting Animation & Rigging
  • Understanding of production pipeline and role of department
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office & Google Suites
  • Knowledge of Shotgun and Flix preferred
  • Detail-oriented, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to anticipate issues and proactively identify to solve and address
  • Ability to confidently and professionally interact with others while under pressure, maintain consistent communication between team and studio
  • Able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment where priorities and demands shift
