Senior Marketing Artist

Skydance Interactive – developers of the hit game The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners –is looking for a Marketing Art Lead. The Marketing Art Lead is able to leverage the art style of our games to create a wide range of assets on multiple mediums, including but not limited to Key art, logos, web graphics, social media, ad creatives, photography, posters and videos. This artist must be versatile in working with and manipulating already-created art assets into polished, usable formats across the same wide range of mediums. Additionally, they must be flexible and enjoy working on a variety of different games and projects, working with external and internal partners as needed to visually impress our players.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create assets for our games’ storefronts (PSN/Xbox/Steam, etc), websites, social media
  • Create 2d assets to support our marketing and PR initiatives – logos, key art, screenshots, ad creatives, posters, presentation sheets, t-shirt designs, mock ups, etc.
  • Work closely with the game team to reflect the artistic and gameplay vision for the game in all of our marketing assets
  • Work closely with our video lead on assets for trailers, community videos and streaming.
  • Retouch and manipulate image composition. Perform basic paint overs as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of digital media requirements for social platforms.
  • Navigate game clients (Unreal, etc) and editors to compose, frame, and capture high-quality screenshots
  • Collaborate effectively with your colleagues to deliver visually impressive results
  • Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ professional experience in a comparable graphic, visual design or artist role
  • 2+ years working on marketing assets
  • Solid knowledge of branding, design and the campaign creative development process
  • High levels of creativity, and demonstrated ability to generate innovative designs
  • Exceptional eye for composition, contrast, and color
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Master Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Some knowledge of video editing with After Effects and Adobe Premiere, or equivalent 
  • Able to work well in a collaborative, iterative design team of artists and marketers
  • Organized and able to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge and passion for video games
  • Persistent self-education around innovations in marketing creative
