Skydance Animation is looking for an Assistant to support the VP of Creative Affairs and Head of Creative Planning & Inclusion. This role includes but is not limited to day-to-day administration and support of studio initiatives surrounding inclusion. The ideal candidate has previous assistant experience within the entertainment industry, is proactive and highly detail-oriented, and has great enthusiasm for building positive work culture in a growing and creative studio. Most importantly, they want to uplift others and be part of change!


  • Provide organizational and administrative support to Executives, including heavy scheduling and calendar management
  • Screen and respond to incoming calls and correspondences
  • Help support and coordinate studio diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Partner with creative, artistic, production, overhead teams in prioritizing positive company culture with a global perspective
  • Participate in short- and long-term planning aligned with department and studio goals
  • Take and distribute detailed meetings notes; prepared agendas, reports, presentations as needed
  • Help research industry trends related to diversity and inclusion programs, compliance, offerings
  • Maintain and organize shared databases, electronic filing systems, tracking grids
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, arrange detailed itineraries, process documentation
  • Maintain and process monthly expense reports
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
  • Requirements

  • 2+ years administrative experience, within Entertainment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
  • Effectively communicate and interface with all levels of management through strong written and verbal communication
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, proactive with efficient follow-through
  • Demonstrates good judgement, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive workplace for a growing studio
