The Lead Pipeline Engineers is responsible for providing technical supervision to a team of Pipeline engineers, ensuring that the work meets the technical requirements, coding conventions, and quality established by the department. He/she also has the duty to ensure that the team’s deadlines are met. She/he will lead designs and act as a mentor and guide to all members of the department. In addition, he must collaborate with other departments to determine the needs for new developments. She/he will have a very close collaboration with the Pipeline Architects in the design and implementation of new developments.
The Lead Pipeline Engineer will also research, design, develop, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
A fundamental task of this role is to understand the operation of the animation studio and to propose development solutions focused on the best performance of the studio.
