Skydance is looking for an experienced Coordinator ready to support two Skydance Sports Development Executives (President and SVP). This person will be responsible for research projects, information tracking, grid work, and script/book coverage in addition to providing high level administrative support, including, but not limited to: day-to-day scheduling, processing, note-taking, and generating organization systems.  The ideal candidate will have a love of sports and sports content.


  • Manages executives’ calendars and schedules/coordinates meetings and appointments with both internal and external participants
  • Screens and responds to heavy incoming call volume and email correspondence
  • Arranges detailed and extensive international travel plans and itineraries and compiles travel documentation and expense reports
  • Various research duties, including tracking down materials, rights, and contact information
  • Takes detailed transcription of creative calls and conversations as needed; transforms said notes into viable documents to be shared with producing partners and creatives on the projects
  • Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files on multiple projects, including executive specific grids such as those used to track incoming submissions or pitches
  • Maintains and circulates the sports department grids (slate, dev grid, overall deal list, NWEP list), including generating new grids, as requested
  • Manage the internal distribution and organization of production documents
  • Manage communication with internal and external contacts including, internal staff and management, agents, studio executives, executive producers, creative talent, etc.
  • Networks professionally with external assistants, coordinators, junior executives and representatives to build relationships
  • Other ad hoc duties as required, such as filing, typing, and copying document; prepares agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for meetings as required
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of desk experience in the Entertainment Industry, sports-specific experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for sports-related content and trends
  • Basic understanding or interest in production is necessary
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly Proficient with MS software including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators and coordinators internally and externally, as well as senior management and creatives as required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines for complete tasks/assignments in a calm and organized manner
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Good attention to detail and follow-through skills; organization is a must!
  • Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures a plus; such as relevant software skills and a general understanding of budgeting and production
  • Fluency in Spanish, a strong plus
