Skydance Animation is looking for a Coordinator to support the Talent Development department. This team facilitates the growth of our employees, including but not limited to those within production, creative, and artistic-centric roles. They are the main point of contact for staffing assignments and forecasting resource needs, with the continuous goal of retaining and developing our talent.
The ideal candidate has previous assistant experience within the entertainment industry and is comfortable in heavy scheduling, reporting, and collaboration. They have excellent attention to detail and follow-through, the ability to multi-task, and a high level of discretion. Most importantly, they are passionate about cultivating and supporting the growth of an animation studio and have a desire to grow within Talent Development long-term!


  • Provide organizational and administrative support to department Executives, including heavy scheduling and calendar management, meeting prep
  • Keep informed on employee experiences and goals, shifting studio needs, initiatives prioritizing positive company culture from global perspective
  • Maintain an employee-focused approach; support consistent line of communication with internal teams and individuals
  • Partner with other studio departments including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Creative Planning, and Production to help establish pipelines to improve efficiency, employee experience, and development opportunities
  • Participate in short- and long-term planning aligned with department and studio goals
  • Ensure internal system processes and data are kept clean; maintain and organize shared databases, electronic filing systems, tracking grids, and distribute as appropriate
  • Coordinate team travel including overnight and international accommodations, scheduling of events, arrange detailed itineraries, dissemination of information to travelers, process documentation
  • Maintain and process monthly expense reports
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
  • Requirements

  • 2+ years administrative experience, within Entertainment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
  • Effectively communicate and interface with all levels of management through strong written and verbal communication
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, proactive with efficient follow-through
  • Demonstrates good judgement, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Airtable a plus
