Amazon has confirmed which Lee Child book will serve as the basis for “Reacher” Season 3.
The third season of the Prime Video series, which was announced in December, will be based on the book “Persuader.” That book is the seventh in the Jack Reacher series written by Child. In addition, it is now confirmed that Maria Sten will return as Frances Neagley in the third season of the hit show, with Sten having appeared in both Seasons 1 & 2. The third season is currently filming in Toronto.
Alan Ritchson stars as Jack Reacher, with the second season of the show having debuted on Dec. 15. The second season debuted at number two on the Nielsen top 10 streaming charts. Season 2 was based on the book “Bad Luck and Trouble.” It saw Reacher investigating the deaths of members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations.

Child is also an executive producer on the series with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television. The series is produced by Amazon Studios, Skydance, and Paramount Television Studios. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid are the executives-in-charge of the series for Skydance Television.
